New affiliate in Eygpt

Gardenia Resort, a Timeshare resort located in Hurghada, Egypt, has become affiliated to Interval International.
Interval International is a leading global provider of holiday exchanges and is part of the Interval Leisure Group, listed on Nasdaq as IILG.
Darren Ettridge, the Vice President of resort sales and service in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), said "Today, we're seeing that Egypt in general and the Red Sea in particular are proving more and more popular as year-round destinations. With the addition of this notable resort to our network, Interval will be better able to cater to the increased demand".
This new, purpose- built resort is scheduled to be completed in 2011. It will have 175 Timeshare units including studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. There will be several swimming pools, a health club, a kid's club, restaurants and bars, and it's close to local night life and golden sandy beaches.
The developer of the resort is Network Corporation & Continental for Touristic Resorts. Khaled el Nayal, the Chairman, said "We are happy to affiliate Gardenia Resort in Hurghada, our new property, with Interval. During our long relationship with the company, we have always had positive experiences, especially with Gardenia Plaza, our first affiliated resort in Sharm el Sheikh. Hurghada has gained in popularity to become one of the leading destinations on the Red Sea, although until recently it was a small fishing village. The local airport has expanded in order to meet the increased demand as tourists have flocked to Hurghada, and now serves around 60 cities in 20 countries in Europe and the Middle East.
Hurghada is famous for its water- based sports, as visitors can try windsurfing, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, sailing and more. The offshore reefs are considered to be among the finest in the world, rivaling the Great Barrier Reef, offering a fabulous holiday experience for snorkelers and divers.
