The Resort Development Organisation (RDO) was established to improve the representation of reputable companies within the Timeshare sector following the European Timeshare Federation's decision to integrate all national Timeshare trade associations into one Europe wide organisation.
The RDO is a direct membership organisation and currently has over 130 members from all sectors of the industry including resort developers, exchange companies, management and marketing companies, trustees, finance houses and resale companies.
The RDO works with governments at both national and European levels to ensure Timeshare owners are protected by a code of ethics which promotes high standards of integrity and safeguards occupancy rights and consumer payments.
It also encourages the positive development of the industry and regularly organises events in which industry members can network and exchange ideas and opinions with other industry colleagues.
