From its beginnings in 1999 offering fractional ownership, the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club has since moved into the realms of real estate with its points-based Portfolio Membership. Members enjoy the exclusive opportunity to visit a large variety of top-class destinations across the globe and benefit from owning deeded property. In 2009 the Club received the accolade of best fractional vacation home purveyor in the world for Robb Report's 21st annual "Best of the Best" issue.
Peter J. Watzka, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Ritz-Carlton Development Company said "We continue to surpass member expectations by creating extraordinary experiences, heightened levels of personal service and new membership options like Portfolio Membership."
The distinguished Ritz-Carlton brand provides its guests with an extensive collection of some of the most sought-after holiday locations in the world. Starting out in the Aspen Highlands and St. Thomas in 1999, the company went on to open numerous vacation properties across the USA, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
