Swedish company joins Timeshare giant

RCI has just announced that SkiStar, a leader in the Timeshare ski market in Sweden, has affiliated its resorts SkiStar Vacation Club Fjällhotell and SkiStar Vacation Club Snötorget with RCI.

The two resorts are based in the popular Sälen ski resort area in Sweden, famous for hosting the start of Vasaloppet which is the world's longest and largest cross-country ski race with more than 15,000 entrants.
Visitors to Sälen can also enjoy Experium - Sweden's newest leisure complex. Experium features several indoor and outdoor swimming pools together with an adventure pool with indoor surfing and wave effects. Visitors will also find a number of activities such as spa and saunas, food court, restaurants, cafés and bars, 3-D cinema, children's play area, bowling and more.
SkiStar is a newcomer to the shared-ownership concept, with sales only having started in November 2009. SkiStar Vacation Club Fjällhotell consists of studio and one-bedroom units with partial kitchens, whilst its two-bedroom units have full kitchens. SkiStar Vacation Club Snötorget offers two- and three-bedroom units with full kitchens.
With the addition of the SkiStar resorts, RCI's portfolio of resorts in Sweden has grown to 19, and will also add to RCI's range of over 250 skiing resorts.
RCI is expecting the resort to be very popular with its owners, and now SkiStar Vacation Club owners can exchange for a wide range of RCI holidays including sunshine holidays in the Canary Islands, historic holidays in the UK or family holidays in Florida.
