New marketing initiative

Saturday 7th November saw the début of a 30 minute programme called "Timeshare - History in the Making". The brainchild of TATOC (the Timeshare Association) and Worldwide Leisure Group and managed by the Worldwide Timeshare Hypermarket, the programme documents the history and benefits of Timeshare, whilst showcasing several typical Timeshare resorts on the Costa del Sol, Cyprus and Scotland.

The Travel Channel (Sky 251) was the first to air the programme, followed by its sister station, the shopping channel Travel Deals Direct (Sky 647). Repeats will be shown throughout November on both channels and the program is available to view here: Harry Taylor from TATOC on the Travel Channel
The TV presentation is a joint effort between Harry Taylor, CEO of TATOC, and Philip Watson of Worldwide Leisure Group. It is split into various sections dealing with the different elements of owning Timeshare and aims to educate people from the comfort of their home. As a Timeshare owner himself, Harry features in the film - sharing his experiences and insight into the benefits of worldwide exchange, and explaining various subjects such as maintenance fees.
The programme's educational nature is seen as a welcome change from the negative publicity that has surrounded Timeshare in the past - and with other established resort developers showing interest in the initiative, it's hoped that the programme will be the first of many in the future.
